Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Musée d'Art et d'Archéologie de Senlis for its excellent and unique Gallo-Roman collection, particularly the intriguing statues. The friendly staff, multilingual information, and the combined ticket offering access to a second museum and park are also highly appreciated. While small, it's considered a gem that offers significant value for its modest entry fee.
"The museum covers a mix of archeology to modern paintings. For me most stunning is that the small statues found, dated around 50BC, have a 99% resemblance to those at Easter Island, in the Ocean off Chili. Which are 100* larger in size though."

"Excellent small museum with a good collection of Gallo-Roman artifacts, gargoyles from the Senlis Cathedral and paintings covering a range of periods.
The gallo-roman pieces are from a local sanctuary discovered in the late 1990's. Very interesting film on their discovery and potential meaning.
Videos are available in French and English. Descriptive cards for the displays are available in English and German. Staff is very helpful. This small museum was better laid out, and information more accessible than some much larger museums."
