We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Abbaye de Talloires! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene setting right on the lake. The hotel grounds are gorgeous, with ample outdoor seating both on the docks and in the front garden—perfect for soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. One of our favorite features was the unique cave-like bar—such a cool and unexpected surprise!
While there weren’t a lot of shops within walking distance, there were some nice restaurants nearby, and we didn’t have much time to explore anyway. Overall, this is a place that invites relaxation and makes you feel truly cared for. Highly recommended!"
