What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tignes Val Claret is praised for its exceptional snow reliability and vast ski terrain, offering access to the extensive Espace Killy. Visitors appreciate the high altitude and unique features like the underground glacier lift. However, some reviews mention issues with noise from fireworks and negative experiences with parking and vehicle damage, alongside concerns about the resort's modern architecture and motorhome facilities.
"Small village with lots of runs connecting nearby villages and lifts. There’s a unique, underground tube lift in Val Claret with links to the glacier."

"A bit noisy, especially when fireworks are being set off over Lake Tignes. There have been a lot of changes over the past twenty years. I came here to ski. Very nice walks on the peaks. Motorhome parking outside Tignes Val Claret, very spacious (if the motorhomes are used). However, when it rains, it's a mess, only one self-cleaning toilet, a platform for emptying and refilling. However, the decree indicates the presence of 6 electrical terminals, but there is nothing left. I stayed there for two nights and didn't see the municipal agent to collect the 7 euros per day. It also indicates no more than 72 hours, except that the motorhomes were there before our arrival. A little improvement and a bank card terminal at the entrance would be good."
