Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the beautiful coastal walk and the serene beach at Torreilles, highlighting the natural beauty of the Bourdigoul River and dunes. However, many express disappointment that the WWII bunkers are largely inaccessible and lack historical information, with protective fencing limiting exploration.
"A lovely walk to the end of the trail!
We arrive at the mouth of the Bourdigoul River!
The wildlife is interesting to see as we go back up the path that runs alongside the Agulla de l'Auca, and we can even see a small farm at the end!"
Jean-Bernard Devigne
"I was expecting restored, well-maintained bunkers, but that's not the case at all. There are no signs, no information panels. And apart from one bunker, it's impossible to get close because there are chestnut fences everywhere. It's good for protecting the dune flora and fauna, but it leaves you feeling a bit frustrated when you come specifically to see these bunkers."
Marie B. (bleumarie)
"Bunkers inaccessible, fenced off. Not very interesting.
The beach, however, is beautiful."
