"Lovely museum in a gorgeous building. When we visited, the permanent collection was upstairs with a visiting exhibit on the first floor. Charming little gift shop with very reasonably priced items. Entry is free… Convenient parking garage nearby such as Liberté.
Super cool library on the second floor. Be sure to stop in and check it out."

"If you appreciate art, this is a great stop for a few hours. There are no major masterpieces although the visit is pleasant and enriching. This museum contains pieces of ancient, modern and contemporary art. At the same time they also have archeological and ethnographical finds. The collection turns around the topic of the landscape, especially portraits by the school of artists in Lyon and from the Provence area. Very interesting the part related to the exploration of the Mediterranean Sea and its lands which includes views of the old oriental world. Don’t miss a visit to the library inside the museum.
The staff was very kind. Each visitor is welcomed by someone with a printed leaflet of the exposition, not so necessary for me, but still appreciated. Recommended!"
