"Very nice view over Vienne! You can see the cathedral, the river and most importantly the ancient theatre!
But the road to get there is a bit tricky with the car. There is a small church and the statue of Mary at the top!"

"It is a steep and winding drive to Belvedere de Pipet but definitely worth it. The views of the river and roman theatre are spectacular and the small church is interesting to visit. Well worth a stop if you are in the area."

"This historic and significant hilltop of Belvedere Pipet is not only rich in history but gives you the best vista of Vienne! It took me about twenty minutes to navigate my way up the hilltop (easy directions from Google maps) and the effort was handsomely rewarded with stunning views. The first significant landmark is the Chapel of Our Lady of Pipet with the Virgin and Child perched on top of a red brick tower. There are some historic sites of Roman ruins visible from here. To the right side is the Château de la Bâtie, right below is the Roman Theatre ruin and almost straight ahead is Cathedral of Saint Maurice with its stunning flying buttresses. Also visible is the Suspension Bridge of Vienne and Pont de Lattre de Tassigny. You can drive here but has limited parking spaces and there's a public lavatory here as well. On returning, turn right at Rue Pipet and descend using Chemin des Amoureux track for an easy descend. It's really worth visiting, just take short breaks up the hill (it's about 277m) and be dazzled by the unbelievably stupendous scenery of Vienne."
