Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Vienne's Saturday market for its staggering variety of fresh produce, local delicacies, and the exciting flea market finds. The lively, buzzing atmosphere and friendly stallholders create a memorable experience, though parking and crowded conditions on market days are noted drawbacks.
"A lovely market which gets very busy mostly on the Fridays. Vienne is a small city but comes alive during market days which Sunday, Wednesday and Friday morning until 1pm. The amount of fruits and vegetables are staggering with everything else from cheese, meat, seafood, bric-à-brac and more. The whole area, Miremont Square, landmark with the Museum of Fine Arts of Vienne, gets very busy and almost every available parking station is full as well as main streets and side streets! Very colourful and friendly stallholders making this a buzzing atmosphere. This is the very centre of Vienne, accessible to the railway station, City Hall and the Temple of Augustus and Livia. I absolutely loved exploring this market when I was holidaying in Vienne. Highly recommended to try the local cuisine and mingle with the locals."

"An acquaintance told me about the Vienna market, I had the opportunity to go there, I would say that in terms of prices it is comparable to Lyon, otherwise there is a good selection and small producers, it would be necessary to provide some public toilets."
