These sites are at the risk of destruction due to natural as well as human causes. Naturai being landslides, earthquakes flash floods while manmade are various from infrastructure development, to vandalism in the name of religious beliefs.
Moreover lack of concern by government over conservation or preservation of such historical landmarks. The Agha Khan Foundation is doing a great job trying to save these historical sites but participation from the government is most important and need of time."
