Gremi Church of the Archangel, is an excellent display of Georgian architecture and was built between 1565-1577, during the reign of King Levan of Kakheti. You can see his picture painted inside the museum."

"Amazing place, very old and oroginal, small fee for a museum and access into the tower, is well wirth it. There was a service when we were there and it was a wonderful experience Staff were friendly. Parking is available from a side road with a tunnel under the road to reach the entrance. no crowd only a 2 tourists other persons were locals going to church.
