What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Navenakhevi Cave is praised for its ancient geological formations and consistent cool temperature, making it a unique natural attraction. Visitors appreciate the welcoming staff and the family-friendly atmosphere with surrounding park facilities. However, some reviews mention disappointing tour experiences due to short durations, limited English from guides, and a desire for more in-depth exploration after paying admission.
"Love paleontology? This place is for u.
But i must specially mention staff - really welcoming, warm personalities. Thank you"

"Our tour experience was disappointing due to a 25-minute delay in the guide's preparation. Furthermore, the guide's limited English proficiency and thick accent made communication challenging. Instead of a comprehensive tour, we were given a brief 3-minute overview of the cave's history at the entrance, followed by being left to explore on our own with a 30-minute time constraint. Considering we paid the fees, I believe we should have had unrestricted access to the cave.
To be honest, the cave itself was underwhelming, even for a first-timer like me. It resembled a damp, rocky tunnel with jagged edges and some stairs. Overall, the experience was subpar, and I wouldn't recommend it.""

"The cave was really beautiful and interesting! What needs improvement is the guiding. There were only us - two adults and two small kids (the biggest is 3 and a half years old). And although our very specific characteristics, our tour guide did not do any adjustments to the guidance. She spoke while we walked and also while the kids asked us somethings. And this was although she didn't have much to say - all the guidance was three minutes all together. So what was the rush to speak while we walk and while the kids have questions?"
