Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Queen Tamar Bridge as a beautiful example of historical architecture and a scenic spot, especially when combined with the Makhuntseti Waterfall. However, some note that it can get very crowded in the afternoon, impacting the experience and photo opportunities. Concerns about litter in the surrounding areas were also mentioned. Reddit+2

"A beautiful example of classic building methods in Sakartvelo. Amazing to see and not far from the road that leads to the waterfall. Stop and take pictures and stay to watch the river flow through the mountains."

Stephanie R.

"It's nice to see a bridge that is several years old, but I don't know that it would be worth extra to visit.

If you want to see it, go in the morning! In the afternoon there are a million people on the bridge jostling for a photo and you won't feel comfortable crossing from one side to the other.

When there are so many tourists, I would appreciate more cleaning around the river, the bridge and the parking lot. There was enough trash on the ground."

Sofie Pokorna

"This stone arch bridge is cool for sure, crazy how it is holding itself. There are no safety measures and it's not taking much time to be done there. In the pictures it looked more amazing than it was in reality! Still when you are in Makhuntseti you should not only check out the waterfall you should also go to the bridge!

I also believe that the bridge is in summer or fall with the landscape more beautiful, but in the off season it's not as pretty when being completely honest.

Also the river was super dirty! You can do summer rafting at this river and other touristy things. Also on the street you can buy souvenirs and will be talked to, but not in an annoying way"
