"Good place for Family Picnic or BBQ trekking with Stunning View from the top of the Chateaux.
Open 24 hours"

"This place has been a little bit renovated over the years with safety railing. The interior is not well light at all and is dark. The castles main tower is dark mostly inside. And the other interior is as well dark with a gate that's in front of a door it looks like. It has a great view of a part of Saarland from the plateau. The walk is about 7 minutes from the further parking lot. I don't think the closer parking lot is open during the winter. Still a great place to go visit!"

""Teufelsburg or "Devil's Castle" can be traced back to a local legend in which a knight of the castle made a pact with the devil to whom the knight sold his soul before engaging in a duel. The sound of his screams as he entered Hell are still said to be heard today.""
