"We decided late in the day that we wanted to tour the castle. There were only 2 other people touring at the time and a school group just leaving. The castle was well worth the trip. The stairs to the battlements were a challenge in that they are crooked and uneven but the views from the top were well worth it. The dining chamber, office and bedroom were also worth seeing. The wood work and floors were fantastic. Stone carvings and stained glass windows were beautiful. Always wanted to see the spiral staircase to the alchemist and down to the prison. Well worth the trip."
