What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Lilienstein for its breathtaking panoramic views and the rewarding, albeit challenging, hike. The unique rock formations and the scenic Elbe River valley are major highlights. Some note the steepness of the trails and the limited hours of the summit hut as minor drawbacks.
"We started on the north side and came down the south side of Lilienstein. That is a hard but very fun hike. Bring plenty of water with you. We made Sandwiches in our Ferienwohnung to take with us. We also had a few Beer and Radler on hand to make our hike more enjoyable. There is a Baude but it closes at 5pm. So we missed that. But since we where prepared it was not a big deal. Next time we will start our hike a little erlier. Now we know how much time we need to get there.
For sure eorth it. You have a great view from many spots."
Terence Hill
"We went up the southern, and down the northern. Both were doable, even if I am not in a very good shape 😅"
Grethe Gad
"We sometimes come here to hike. Beautiful view from the top. A little rocky and steep towards the top though."
