Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Baumwipfelpfad Schwarzwald for its beautiful treetop walk and spectacular panoramic views from the observation tower. It's highly recommended for families due to its educational elements and the fun adventure playground and slide. Some note that extra fees for the slide and playground can add up, and it can get crowded on weekends.
"Good easy hike for the family. Fun nature facts are scattered throughout the walk (Kids 6yrs and 4yrs) though there’s admission fee and additional fees for the slide and the playground, worth it for the experience. Costs I’m sure go towards the upkeep. Everything is well maintained. Note: Bring 2€ coins to use the slide."

"Great educational and overall experience. From the entry way a walkway with education and activities for children brings you to the main area with the treetop walkway.
Once at the top of the walkway you'll be able to see to the horizon in any direction and there are helpful arrows signposting significant locations and directions.
For the adventurous there is a quick way down for only 2€
At the base is a extensive play area for children.
Overall a really good experience and very worth the entry fee."

"Absolutely wonderful walk through the forest. The Treetop walk is both stunningly beautiful and peaceful. If you are going on a weekend, try to go a little before or after midday (fewer folks up there). The views from the top of the tower are long and majestic. The Bergbahn runs up from Bad Wildbad every 30 minutes on the 15th and 45th minutes. Along the walking path are fun activities and some wonderful little bird box/people are hanging in the trees waiting to be discovered."
