"We stumbled upon this museum by accident and did not regret it at all! We happen to be there are the right time (check opening times as it is not the same everyday). The video at the start was so informative and engaging. The tour after that by the lady was great and helped us understand more about Brahms being inspired in the beautiful town of Baden-Baden.
The house is under construction but you can still visit. It will take 30-60mins."

"The docent was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic, with lots of facinating stories about Brahms to tell. It was a surprise Brahms could write such complex musical works in such a modest flat with other tenants in the building to deal with. Brahms moved there to be closer to his girlfriend Clara Schumann, who was Robert Schumann’s widow."
Mark Schine
"Very friendly and warm hearted museum staff and very beautiful view to Baden - Baden from House of Brahms:)) next time would like to visit with my brother :)"
