"It was exactly what we expected for a gallery that has the largest Joseph Beuys collection.
Yes it’s in a medieval castle with an interesting history but the you will be disappointed if you are there purely for the Castle. It was a bucket list visit for my husband who thoroughly enjoyed himself as he’s a huge Beuys fan. We were not able to explore the gardens due to the weather, however the walk from the entrance to the castle was beautiful.
It was a great post modern art experience. Highly recommend a visit if you are a fan of modern sculpture and performance art in an impressive medieval castle."

"really beautiful from the outside, but the inside was unexpected. the inside was decorated with modern/experimental art but there were some rooms that explained the castle’s history which was super interesting. you could also take a narrow brick stair case to the top so you could see the view from atop which was really pretty."

Couldn't see the inside of the castle, even though we paid tickets, without walking in to the room with people sitting in corners crying or breathing in to microphones. Completely ruined the experience of a midevil castle and a complete waste of money."
