"Modern state of the art information centre with excellent displays and infographics about the surrounding area. Had previously spent hours trying to work out where the best hiking trails for our ability would be. The lady in the centre gave me all the necessary information in under 5 minutes. We followed her recommendations for three hikes which turned out to be spot on. May thanks! Would highly recommend a visit!"

"Simple but entertaining and interactive permanent exhibit about the plant and wildlife of Berchtesgadenerland as well as some local history and folk culture. Some parts of the exhibit offer English translation, but the majority of it is only in German. This is a good place for elementary-aged kids as well as older kids and adults. The exhibit makes good use of multimedia technology and interactive displays."

"Wonderful location. Beautiful stay and with great nature around. However, many cigarette butts were found around that contain plastic and toxins. Nobart2 and kk_korrekturfee took part in The Trash Traveler face challenge here. Bin your cigarettes, leave no trace - the ocean starts with our acts far away from the beach! Thank you! :-)"
