What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise Friedrichsfelde Palace for its beautiful Baroque architecture and elegantly restored interiors, offering a peaceful historical escape within Berlin. Its location within the Tierpark is a significant draw, allowing for a combined cultural and recreational day. Some visitors note that information about the palace's specific history could be more readily available.
"Quite small compared to other castles / palaces. Seems more like a palace than a castle to me. Either way one of the most beautiful palaces I’ve seen in Europe. It was probably recently renovated because everything seemed in mint condition. It’s nice that it’s inside the Zoo so u can still visit otter things in the area."

"Amazing place, it’s really worth it to visit, especially during weekends!"
Aris Katserelis
"On the upside, the animals have lots of space and seem to be well cared for. And the entrances had beautifully decorative autumn displays.
On the downside, a lot of the area is just woodland or lawn without animals, so it feels a bit empty at times. Food options are quite limited. Several toilet stalls missed paper and were very gross (the one next to the elephant enclosure building site had fecal matter on the walls!). The feeding of the red pandas at 5pm never happened and after 20 minutes the very disappointed crowd left."
