What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Savignyplatz is praised for its charming, local atmosphere and excellent dining options, especially its renowned Chinese restaurants on Kantstraße and traditional German eateries. Visitors appreciate the relaxed vibe and the convenience of Sunday flea markets. However, some find parking difficult and the area can get crowded during market days.
"A truly beautiful train station that impresses with its charming natural light and old columns. The historical character of the station gives it a special atmosphere. While waiting for the train, you can discover interesting graffiti and tags, a unique piece of Berlin’s urban culture. The access without a major main road is particularly pleasant, making the stay more relaxing. The station is relatively small, giving it a cozy feel, especially by Berlin standards. Plenty of space for bicycles. Additionally, the cleanliness is remarkable, which is unfortunately not always the case with train stations."

"I used this S bahn Station a lot while I was in Berlin, It was near my hotel..
There's a kiosk for newspaper and confectionery and a lovely sandwich/cake shop there as well..Theres two entrances, There's no staff, The ticket machine is easy to use and the validation machine is right next to the machine..I brought a 24hr ticket, 9.50 euros (Sept 2023 price),But remember it finishes at 3am next dayThe S bahn from there are approx 10 mins,They go past the Berlin Zoo,Next stop in fact and to Berlin Central Station..Excellent service..And not to crowded."
