Reviews Summary

Gaußberg Park is a charming, hilly green space appreciated for its calm atmosphere and suitability for summer picnics and walks. While some note its small size and lack of children's playgrounds, its historical significance, particularly the statue of Carl Friedrich Gauss, adds to its appeal as a peaceful local spot.

"Braunschweig is a lovely city in Lower Saxony, but what makes it even more remarkable is that it is associated with the name Gauß, the famous mathematician, astrologer, geodesist, and physicist who lived there.

I went primarily to visit Gauß's statue and later took a trip in Gaußberg Park. The park is small, hilly, and charming. Gauß's statue reeks with history, not just in Braunschweig but throughout Germany and beyond; in fact, he walked the surface of this planet like a colossus. It's nice to be here in the summer."
