What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Quadriga on the Palace a hidden gem with stunning city views and an impressive sculpture. The often-broken ticket machine leads to frequent free entry, making it a budget-friendly experience. Some find the entrance tricky to locate and the final climb to the top a bit strenuous.
"Definitely check this out when in the area! The entrance is a little hard to find. It’s just to the right of the main entrance in the portico and is a little brown door with QUADRIGA written above it. When inside there’s a small machine to buy a ticket, but at the time of writing the machine is broken and therefore it’s free! You take the lift up to the fourth floor and then have to walk up the final 20-30 steps to the Quadriga.
There is a nice view over the city and you get to admire the massive sculpture up close, and read about it’s history. On the second floor there is a small Schloss Lounge where you can grab a bite to eat and drink. The lady at the museum was very proud to tell me that their Quadriga is a few meters taller than the very famous one on the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin :)"

"From this location you can see nice view of entire city, it is advised to go on sunny day to enjoy the view.
1) You have to buy ticket from automatic machine (German as well as English)
2) Ticket cost 2.50€ each which allows you to roam in top of the area around 2 hrs
3) You have lift to go up stairs, but last 1 floor you have to walk :)
while returning you have to walk as well :)
Overall :
It was one time good experience.
Good to see my city from another view :)"
