What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Allerinsel as a great nature area with a sparkling river and a unique 'Trees of the Year' path. It's a peaceful spot for a leisurely walk, especially enjoyable with dogs. However, the uneven and narrow paths make it unsuitable for those with mobility issues.
"Coming from Leberstraße, follow the path towards the Aller River, following the map of the Trees of the Year. 🌊 There's a wide bridge without railings. Now we're on the Aller Island by the flood basin. Here you can either walk in a circle or in a figure eight if you want to explore the whole island. It took us 50 minutes to leisurely explore the entire island, including taking photos. This tour isn't suitable for people with mobility issues. The island also has paths; it's uneven, and sometimes the paths become very narrow. Otherwise, the Aller River was sparkling today, and the frogs were croaking. This is also a nature reserve. Whether you're going there or back, you always have the Aller River on your side. A few benches are still missing here. The next ones are located just beyond our starting point. As you can see from the pictures, our dogs were thrilled 🤩 🥰 and we enjoyed it too. 👍"
