Majestätisch thront sie über der Mosel – die Reichsburg Cochem. Im 11. Jahrhundert erbaut, im 17. zerstört und später im Stil der Neogotik wieder aufgebaut. Ein echtes Stück Geschichte aus der Luft! Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Capuchin Monastery for its tranquil atmosphere and the exceptional wine tasting experience at Weingut Kloster Ebernach. The passionate winemakers and the picturesque riverside walk are frequently highlighted as major draws. While the monastery itself offers a peaceful setting, the wine tasting is the standout activity for many. Reddit

"Had a great tasting at this winery. The daughter of the family gave us lots of explanations about their wines."

Stefan Frerichs

"We had a wonderful visit to Weingut Kloster Ebernach on our recent trip to the Mosel Valley. First off, the winery is located in a monastery just twenty minutes walk from Cochem, and the whole way was lovely and picturesque along the river. Martin Cooper, the winemaker, was very generous in sharing his time and his knowledge with us, walking us through the full range of his wines during our visit. It was the perfect introduction to Mosel Rieslings, and left us very confident exploring further, clearly knowing the difference now between 'trocken' and 'halbtrocken', and 'kabinett' and 'auslese'. A great time, and highly recommended to anyone wanting to taste some great biodynamic wine, and have a fun time learning about the winemaking process. Many thanks Martin."
