Unfortunately, not every spot was accessible, as staff were mostly busy with renovation/maintenance or cleaning—but that has to be done at some point. Despite that, definitely recommended!"

"Very interesting! A restored lightship where history comes alive. Very friendly staff who explain a lot and even share a few stories. Most of the work is done by volunteers.
There are also excursions, which we unfortunately haven't taken yet, but which help maintain the ship.
We would definitely recommend a visit!"

"An incredible experience to take a multi-day trip on the lightship. We went to the Kutterregata days in Büsum, for those who don't know it; Schleswig Holstein. As a passenger, you are immediately treated by the crew as a guest and as part of the team. The food on board? Maritime and excellent, you can tell that there are professionals at work in the kitchen. Would you do the trip again? Of course, definitely, that's true seamanship. But always remember: book in good time, places are sought after. Thanks at this point to the entire crew who were on this trip."
