Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Dinkelsbühl's beautifully preserved historic old town and the charm of its Rathaus and surrounding squares. The Haus der Geschichte offers valuable historical context. However, some reviews mention frustrations with town center traffic flow and occasional issues with customer service at municipal offices.

"When I see some 1 reviews here, my stomach turns. A presumably Spanish woman is complaining about a €20 ticket I got in Spain over 20 years ago. She paid 80 marks. Another is complaining about hidden speed cameras, lol. We have a historic old town, so cars don't need to drive around. And anyone who goes to the town hall at 6 p.m. to pick up an ID card so they can get their medication—if that's even true, then they only have themselves to blame. My new ID card was definitely there in no time. But if the photo is bad, you also get 1 😂😂😄😂"

"Since the roundabout (B25) was built, it's taken an extra 15-20 minutes to get through town.
A traffic light would have been much more useful... but oh well."

Markus Bunk

"For Mr. Mayor and Mrs. I will give the maximum of stars and a plus, for the young lady who gave me the Bestigung Antrag Führungszeunis I will give her one star, maybe someone can help her get a course on how to receive customers and how to talk to them. 1. Eye contact is key, 2. A friendly smile wouldn't hurt... You don't have to please anyone but when you're paid by the government then you have a responsibility to treat customers like your bosses, not your arrogant and unfriendly friends. In Rest for some workers in the town hall I want to give a maximum mark. I greet you with respect and esteem."
