"A beautiful and unique Christmas markets across the river, maybe 15 minutes of walking from the infamous Old town markets.
Definitely significantly less crowded during high season, and even though the Neustader markets do not reach the architectural and design grandeur of the Old town's markets, they are still truly beautiful, a bit cheaper and offer a lot of interesting food, drinks and crafts for sale.
The markets are laid in one long promenade with stalls on both sides of it. Definitely visit them if you are already visiting Christmas Dresden."
