What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally appreciate the NRW-Forum's contemporary exhibitions, particularly those focused on pop culture like superheroes and sneakers. The venue offers a modern space for art, and specific shows are often praised for their engaging content. However, some find the exhibition spaces small, and a few reviews mention less-than-ideal interactions with staff.
"Really enjoyed the Wonderwalls exhibit. Quite provocative. Fairey posters were amazing. It is quite a small exhibition though, basically just two rooms, so felt quite short in terms of a museum visit.
Unfortunately, ground staff were a bit rude and abrupt. Honestly don't see how having my tiny designer handbag on my back versus my shoulder makes a difference. It's not a backpack. And he was so rude when he was telling me to take it off my back."

"Like with all museums your like or dislike depends very much on your own taste and which exhibitions are currently on.
My idea is that you just immerse yourself in art and see what comes of it
Visiting this museum is not different. Just wonder through the spacious galleries and see what comes of it"
Seimen Burum
"While I can appreciate art galleries, this one stood out to me for not pleasant reasons. The building unfortunately is not big enough to house internationally famous artists witch creates lines out of the door around the building. And the waiting room/cafe has unique but quite uncomfortable seating. Otherwise it’s a big space to house and display great art."
