Once the home of the Krupp family, the villa is huge and the architecture is really impressive. Inside, you’ll find well-preserved rooms and interesting exhibitions about the Krupp legacy and Germany’s industrial past.
The best part for me was the peaceful park around the villa. It’s perfect for a walk, and you get some amazing views of Lake Baldeney. The area is clean, quiet, and very well-maintained.
If you enjoy history, art, or just want to relax in a scenic and cultural spot, this place is totally worth a visit. Definitely one of the highlights in Essen!"

"Wonderful historical homestead of the famous Krupp's family. Very quant and a must see for anyone who loves history and art. Grounds are wonderfully maintained and house is immaculate for its age littered with lavish artwork throughout. We did not take the tour bit got around as we had a German speaker in our party which is important as the QR code to download the in house tour app does not allow downloads on phones not registered in Germany. All in all a great few hours out and also nearby at the riverside next door afterwards. Enjoy."
