I think it's time to play a little "history." Four years ago, the Kufo closed for renovations. It took forever until it was finally finished. Since June 1, 2024, there's a new tenant who, within her means, is putting a lot of effort into the offerings and ambiance. Some things, including the elevator, are controlled by the city administration. Including the still-not-working elevator. So, no reason to penalize the restaurant with a star. Attentive users might question this. We are and have been regular customers and are delighted with Patrizia's great efforts and the truly beautiful location. So come and spend some lovely hours, even if the city of Essen has restored the historic ambiance."
