What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Villa Merkel for its diverse and interesting art exhibitions and its beautiful, well-kept park setting, especially lovely in spring. The building itself is noted as a very cool and special location. However, some visitors have experienced disappointment due to unexpected closures, particularly on Sundays, highlighting the need for better schedule updates.
"According to Maps, it was supposed to be open on Sunday, from 11am to 6pm.
I came all the way here, from another city, just to find out that it was closed.
As far as I know, this Sunday wasn’t even a special bank holiday, I don’t know the reason why it wasn’t open.
They better update the timetable to avoid these kind of inconveniences, considering that this place is located in a small town, where people might come just for that.
So disappointing!"
