The food selection is equally diverse, with options for every taste — including some great vegan choices.
Handmade decorations, souvenirs, small fairground rides, and cozy areas with stand-up tables and heaters make the whole experience both festive and comfortable. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and wonderfully traditional, with a stage in the main section hosting live music, carol singing, and other performances throughout the days and evenings.
What really stood out was how surprisingly affordable everything was, especially for such a large, internationally known market — you’ll definitely spend more at places like Birmingham or Manchester’s Christmas markets. On top of that, the entire market feels secure, with concrete barriers, visible but friendly police presence, and an overall sense of safety without it being intrusive.

"Visited market yesterday in the evening. Festive atmosphere. There was kiosk selling kebabs, I bought pork kebab . It was really tasty , I recommend it. I had hot drink with cherry Likör . It was also very good . There was build hut , and hey were selling yellow candles , from honeycomb. Also I highly recommend to buy paper stars ,I bought red one many years ago, it turned out to be such high quality, that I am still hanging it every Christmas."
