What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Rothschildpark is widely praised as a clean, quiet, and well-maintained urban oasis perfect for relaxation, picnics, and children's play. While most of the park is delightful, some visitors note issues with homeless individuals near the tower, which can detract from the experience in that specific area.
"Nice near city center, clean, quite, great for jogging and walking around.
There is a tower there that looks like historical but don't make my mistake: don't go too close because many homeless stay there (at least in summer time) and it smells really bad (pee and God knows what else). But it's only this small part, the rest is really nice and you won't even imagine that the tower was in such state because the park is just super nice, clean and well cared."

"Great urban park, not very big but well kept and very pleasant. The main lawn is big enough for kids to play football while their parents can have a picnic nearby. On the north end, there is a big playground (Spielplatz) for children. I am only missing a park cafe for beverages and snacks (strange that no one started a bike-cafè or something at least, it's always packed with kids and parents on weekends, and after work, and during lunch breaks with employees of the towers).
After the last 2 dry summers, irrigation was installed, so no more yellow dry grass 🎉"

"A little gem if you want a short period of quiet in the middle of the city. Take a stroll or relax on the grass. Have kids? No problem - there's a playground for them as well."
