What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Vierradenmühle is a well-loved restaurant situated on the scenic Germany-Poland border, offering delicious Polish cuisine and stunning river views from its terrace. While the indoor ambiance might be less inviting for some, the friendly, multilingual service and generous food portions make it a highly recommended stop for travelers seeking a unique culinary and geographical experience.
"Lovely spot right adjacent to the footbridge between Germany and Poland. Outdoor patio must be very fine in warm weather, however it was mid-november on my visit so I dined inside, where the atmosphere is decent modern, if unremarkable. I had the red beet salad, which was good with a preponderance of beets. Service was fine."

"Very nice restaurant. Great location. You can eat inside, but in nice weather it's best to take advantage of the large terrace, right by the river. Then you have a great view of both the Nysa River (below) and the Church of St. Peter and Paul (above).
Very nice and efficient waitresses, speaking Polish, German and English.
We tried pancakes with fruit and applesauce and they were delicious. A very large portion. It was enough for 2 people.
Good coffee."

"Nice food. It didn't feel very cosy inside however. The inside room somewhat had the atmosphere of a train station. The staff was friendly and attentive. The upper floor was sealed off for wedding preparations, so I can't say if it feels more comfortable upstairs. The place has great potential, will revisit again to see how the new management is doing over time."
