Reviews Summary
St. Ursula's Church is a deeply moving and unique destination, particularly for its legendary history and the striking Golden Chamber. Visitors praise the profound atmosphere and the historical significance of the relics, though the macabre display in the Golden Chamber is not for everyone. Checking specific opening hours for the Golden Chamber is crucial for a complete experience.
"Just a months before my visit, I watched a documentary about St Ursula. The story touched deep my heart and I was so happy when I knew about her final resting place to be in Cologne, which was already in my plan to visit in my upcoming trip to Germany.
This place is not so big compared to the cathedral of Cologne but no words to describe the feeling once you are inside. Even more, when you enter the Golden Chamber, which you must pay 2 Euros. Please keep in mind that the Golden Chamber only opens from 10 am to 12 pm and from 3 to 5 pm. We were there at 2 pm and we decided to return at 3. It was a great joy and thankfulness to be able to make this visit to pray for, to honor, and to be in such a sacred place. I suggest that you read about St Ursula’s history before you visit her sacred place. You will really feel the difference."

"Creepy and remarkable place to visit. The Treasury room has an incredible collection of bones and ancient cloth covered skulls. The church also has many sarcophaguses, some of which look like very ancient stone. Very unique place to visit on a trip."
