You can change to swim wear in the dome but there are not enough closets for everyone and the ones that seem available are broken. Meaning the lock doesn’t work.
The food is bad and the service to get the food is worse - it’s horrendous. They have hired just about 1 server per restaurant and they only speak German. Today our dinner restaurant at Ohana hotel where we stay, had run out of 2 food items, of 5 available, and ketchup. At least they said that they might have it tomorrow, but no guarantees.
The room in Ohana is nice. And one elevator is broken so always a queue to get up to your room.
You can buy a refill cup, that you can fill every 45 minutes, but there was always a queue and multiple times we experienced that drinks had run out or no ice…
If you like regular quality food, then this is not for you.
If you like good food, then Germany is not for you.
So, all in all it’s an experience - not be repeated."

"A small family of three can easily spend 500/650 euro for a weekend (including the hotel) if you are not careful or track your expenses. Everything cost extra even as an hotel guest: golf, any kind of beverage, bowling, using a locker, parking, towels. If you bring a small bag they will make you pay for the locker instead of using the storage room. You can sneak in some snacks and water to save some money.

The Ohana rooms were modern and clean, the kids room is big. But the shower was broken and the soap watered down. For a room that costs on average more that 300 euro a night (depends on the season) these things shouldn't happen.

The waterpark is nice and kids definitely will have a good time. You better come with time to find a sunbed and if you stay overnight don't expect that the slides will be open after 19:30, only the main pools. There was no heating so you will get cold after the pools, bring extra towels and extra swimsuits for the little ones. Specially if you stay until late, it gets really cold in general.

The breakfast buffet is as busy as it gets and in general, the food in the restaurants is overpriced. We booked a dinner buffet which was ok. The frozen yogurt was a nice highlight specially because kids can make their own.

Conclusion: it is worth coming once una lifetime, the kids will love it, have fun and be greateful for a family fun weekend. With that said, as a paying adult you need to look the other way and ignore that their business model is all about offering the bare minimum and everything will cost extra."

"The place itself is okay. The overall design can be described as kitsch, as is often the case with theme parks, but the core offering works: the water and artificial jungle do their job and create an environment where one can relax—provided you’re not looking to swim seriously. There is plenty of water, but no area that is deep or large enough to allow for proper swimming.

Unfortunately, the extra services are overpriced and of poor quality. The food is mediocre in both quality and taste, yet a meal can cost around €30, not including drinks. Service is slow—you may wait up to 15 minutes just to be seated, even when there is no queue. The hotel connected to the dome has a ridiculous access layout, requiring guests to navigate a maze of stairways just to reach the elevator, which was not working either. This makes the place particularly inconvenient for anyone with mobility issues.

Overall, for the amount of money you would spend there over a weekend, you could probably fly to a real beach by the sea and enjoy genuinely good food."
