"We were here last weekend, and the experience was great. An amazing 12th-century castle 🏰 with great archaeological structure that is still kept.
We paid 14 euros for visiting all parts of the castle. The museum has their very friendly guides that check the tickets and smiling all the time.
The highlight for me is going up to the castle's tower, which gives the upper majestic view of the castle and Krefeld city 😍✨️"

"Castle with mediaeval museum displays, hunting lodge, and archaeological museum. Well maintained displays in all sections and very affordable with the one €8 ticket covering all three sections. During our visit historically accurate mediaeval reenactor groups were doing crafts and hosting displays of lifestyle within the castle. The Hunting lodge housed a range of mediaeval and renaissance era furniture and musical instruments. Beside the archaeological museum the cafe had good food and friendly service.
This is a great educational visit for families, five stars."

"A quick “trip” to past in a fantastic way! Such a surprise indeed, as I didn’t expect for a small “town” like this to be so rich in museum items, various places (Museum building, Castle, Landlord House , and houses inside Town walls… amazing). It was like a walk trough a past!"
