"What an Amazing place to visit. When you see pictures you can't really see the scale of this Monument. For sure worth the visit. We spend a couple of hours up there. Tou have a great view of the valley below. Fantastic and fun hike up and down."
Terence Hill
"It is a great place with lots of history. A monument built on top of a castle commemorating Frederick Barbarossa.
There is a staircase inside the monument that leads all the way to the top."
Rauno Eisel
"Imposing monument to Kaiser Wilhelm I (i.e. not the WWI guy) built on the site of a significant medieval castle. It is on a fantastic site with wonderful views. There is some great statuary, including the Kaiser in bronze but I prefer the stonework including a wild figure of the Holy Roman Emperor Friedrich Barbarossa. Inside there is a small exhibition and you can also climb up to the top (stairs only, not completely aweful), though the views from the bottom are not very much inferior. Word of warning, we were there late on New Year's Eve - it was chilly, but blowing an absolute gale, making it bitterly cold. Lovely sunset though."
