Some note that parking can be an issue or involve fees.
"Pretty extensive and full of different trails to enjoy the fields of heath. It is best to visit end of August and early September, when the fields fill with the lilac of the heath in bloom.
Some of the main paths where a bit crowded with backpackers, horse carriages carrying tourists, dog walkers, cyclists. I even came across people walking some llamas!
Still, there are plenty of options to choose between enjoying the solitude in the nature, or the company of the visitors.
I have been around this area twice already, and did not get bored any of those times.
The first time I had to pay in the car park. This second time there was plenty of parking for free around.
The village and the entrance to the main walks had amenities to hydrate and rest after the walk, to purchase some souvenirs, or to go to the loo."
