"Haven’t been to a concert yet so will update this weekend but our first experience of the organization was one of getting an issue resolved with our tickets. The staff responding online as well as the staff on the premises both worked hard and efficiently to get an issue with our seats resolved. Very impressed.
Having now attended one concert at the Grand (Grosse) Hall I can attest to its great acoustics. Appearance is a matter of personal taste but I also like its appearance. Some of the artwork on display may dismay—indeed distress—some folks but I’m happy to see tribute paid to more than just the august members of the elites of classical composers and performers."

"The exterior may look a little brutalist but at night when lit it's a completely different experience and glimmers. A true joy to experience Beethoven's 9th here. The Gewandhaus Orchester and choir were incredible. Wonderful acoustics and no bad seat in the whole hall. Easy access and quick service at the buffets and cloakroom. Excellent"
