The greenhouses are a particular highlight, offering an immersive journey through global climates. While some wish for more English descriptions, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many considering it a must-visit and even more impressive than the nearby palace.
"What a great place to spend an afternoon. A lush botanical garden with all sorts of plants, flowers and plant loving critters. While the rose garden wasn’t a main attraction, the greenhouse enclosures were very expansive. Cacti and orchid areas were quite fascinating. The lotus pond was straight out of a painting. Well worth the entry fee!"

"Stunning place. The variety of plants and flowers is impressive, and for €5.5 for a standard adult ticket this is definitely a steal. The greenhouses are fantastic - packed with all sorts of tropical plants! The only thing I would change is writing more plant descriptions in English. Still, wholeheartedly recommended!"

"after visiting the palace we walked down to the botanical garden, and wow! absolutely amazing. it's something everyone can appreciate, not just those who love nature and plants. it's an extremely relaxing walk through the outside area, and inside the greenhouse is like a walk through different areas of the world. so many different and unique plants to see, most of which i'd never even heard of! 100% a thing to go and do if you're in munich!!! you can get tickets online or at the gate, it wasn't too busy when we were there and we just bought them on the screen outside the gate!"
