"Lots of fun! This was my first German füßball match, and I was not disappointed. The fans at Magdeburg have so much more energy than any sports fans I've ever seen back in the US, and they really take the viewing experience to a whole different level. More than anything, they have heart. The love for this team doesn't only come from love for the team, but also a deeply rooted sense of community pride. The history dates back decades; when Germany was split into two countries!. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe FC Magdeburg won the UEFA European Cup in 1974??? They were really renowned with a lot of talent, and the hope of these fans in Magdeburg is for their historic football club to climb back up the ladder and re-join the top division of Bundesliga.
Wherever FC Magdeburg goes, I am deeply grateful for the energetic/loud/very fun hospitality of their many fans, and I wish them all the best! Go Magdeburg!!!"

"Amazing atmosphere for a 3.Liga team, and a good stadium. The facilities are outside of the ground though, like much of Germany, and the queues at half time were ridiculous. It was also difficult to understand how to pay for food and drink without a fan card, or any real information about how to get one on the day."
