What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Technoseum Mannheim for its extensive, highly interactive exhibits that are engaging for all ages. The historical displays, particularly the working steam engine, are a major draw. However, a significant drawback for many international visitors is the predominantly German-language description of exhibits, which can limit comprehension.
"This museum is absolutely worth the trip. The space is extensive, offering plenty to explore without feeling repetitive. To fully appreciate everything, plan for an entire day—it’s both educational and fascinating. The collection of vintage items is impressive, and the experience is enjoyable for all ages. A great destination for families and highly recommended for those who love history and culture."

"Most interactive museum ever. From processes in physics to wind simulators. The museum did a great job in establishing a timeline, from the ancient times on the top floor to the present ages in the lowest floor. I would recommend it to any age group. There’s a lot to see even for children and some memories for elders. German and English is available as the language of instruction. A must-go place if you live in Germany or anywhere near!"

"Very interesting and interactive museum with many interactive experiments for children and adults as well. Unfortunately "Nur für Deutche" - almost everything described in german ONLY. Shame. Apart of that, very good. Should book full day for visit with no rush.3 stars for german descriptions only."
