"Just a vast, impressive building - currently undergoing internal renovation at the chancel end. We didn't have time to pay an extra 1€ to view the renovation exhibition."

"One of the best churches I've visited in Germany. Only 10 minutes of walking distance from Marburg Rail station. Inside of the church is also nicely decorated. There was a souvenir shop inside the church. The wall of the church is nicely decorated.
It's a must visit sightseeing if you are in Marburg."

"The first thing that catches your eye on the way from the train station to the old town is the Elisabethkirche (Church of St. Elizabeth), considered the oldest Gothic church in Germany. It resembles the Cologne Cathedral, but of course has smaller proportions. The church was built on the grave of Elisabeth of Hungary.
It is a prety nice church, a must view if you are in Marburg!"
