What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Alte Utting is widely praised for its incredibly unique concept of a former steamer ship on a railway bridge, offering a vibrant atmosphere with diverse food stalls and a lively bar. Visitors love the quirky vibe, the variety of culinary options, and the potential for live music and sunset views. Some minor drawbacks include a limited beer selection and the bistro being card-only.
"It's a really weird place, independent food stalls making delicious food and the boat is the pub. They give you little tokens, one for each drink, to encourage you to return the bottle or glass your drink is in. Each token is worth €1. Well worth a visit."
John Maloyd
"Definetly worth a vosot, unfortjnately they have a very limited choiceof beer and potrebbe quality Agerola spritz ( we are italian). The place is unique"
Maria Bobbi
"Great place to grab drinks. There are many open places to sit and in the evening there is live music. There are several food vendors to choose from to allow for different tastes in a group. Personally, I only had a few drinks, but the food that others were eating looked very good. It was very unique with the boat and shipping containers. I would absolutely come back."
