Reviews Summary
Kunsthalle Rostock offers a diverse range of contemporary art exhibitions, with highlights like the community-focused 'Rostock Kreativ' often praised for its accessibility and free entry. However, some visitors find certain temporary shows brief for the admission price, and access to specific historical collections may require special arrangements.
"To me, the exhibition of Wenke was utterly random, minimalistic and dull - to be euphemistic. We spend 10 minutes in there that felt like 2 hours.
We were lucky that we had a combined pass, so we could at least see the exhibition downstairs which was at least a bit more interesting."

"A rather small art gallery inside a beautiful park in Rostock. It was founded in 1969 and hosted many collections of modern paintings and photographs since. At the time of my visit, there was a collection of paintings of "Ulrike Theusner" which was pretty interesting even though I am not the biggest fan of modern art, I enjoyed the exhibition. The entry is 8Euros and 6 for students. Tuesdays to Sundays 11.00 - 18.00"
