What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Markgrafenheide Beach is praised for its beautiful, long sandy shores and clear waters, offering a more tranquil experience than its neighbor, Warnemünde. Visitors appreciate the natural landscape and the option for naturism, though the cold Baltic Sea water and sometimes confusing dog beach regulations are noted drawbacks.
"This beach side is a very nice landscape, just at the opposite side of the very busy and loudy beach of Warnemünde. It's not so easy to go to there, you can go to there only by car or by bike. Ok, they offer you a bus travel to, but nobody knows where are the bus stops. The sand of the beach is a little bit gravelly, but mostly sandy. The water is clear and clean, just with some natural algas and some small non poisoned jellyfishes. The only thing you need to know: the water of the Baltic sea is mostly cold to freeze! Yes, but you will learn to handle. If you get accustomed the cold water, than you will enjoy it. Yes, these part of the beach is part of the very special german bath culture, the FKK, that's mean here you can feel free for naturism ... or you can wear your bikini ... whatever you want."
