"A truly paradise on the map of attractions in southern Germany. The boat ride itself offers unforgettable views from every angle, and when you reach the other end of the lake, you'll be captivated by the colors of nature, so vivid you won't be able to tear your eyes away. Continue on to Obersee and, of course, St. Bartholomew. A fantastic place to spend the entire day!"

"One of the most beautiful lakes in Germany! I came in late September and took the first boat of the day — no crowds, no waiting, just pure tranquility. Truly a must-visit in Bavaria!"

"We came here to get tickets for the ferry to take us to the trailhead to hike to the Rothbach Waterfalls. Unfortunately we arrived too late in the day to be able to have enough time to do the hike in time to catch the last ferry back. The ideal way is to get there early in the day to buy your tickets and have adequate time to hike and explore. The woman at the ticket booth was both kind and very helpful. Lots of cute little shops on both sides of the walkway down to the lake. Absolutely beautiful area. Would love to go back when it's a little warmer."
