The restaurant owner: super nice, friendly, and always helpful. The menu is perfectly fine, and the food is delicious and fresh.
The trout he smokes himself deserves special mention. A culinary delight and worth every cent. We were allowed to watch the smoking process in the evening. With love, feeling, and experience, without a thermometer. Respect!
He and his team are fighting for the beautiful island, which is a nature reserve.
However, we have a few important points for the city of Schwerin.
The road safety of the paths should be inspected by trained tree professionals at least every six months and, if necessary, repaired. Nature conservation is good, but ensuring the safety of all visitors is a MUST.
The moorings also urgently need to be repaired."

"It was great there in the great outdoors; we were able to have a cozy barbecue; there's even a small barbecue area. We brought a folding grill with us.
Anchoring the houseboat there and spending the night in peace was perfectly possible, despite the bachelor party on the second jetty.
It's just a shame that the restaurant was closed and the restrooms weren't clean... and that was during the season in July..."
