What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Soltau Therme is highly praised for its wonderful saltwater thermal baths and family-friendly facilities, making it a great escape. While the restaurant offers tasty Asian dishes, the cakes have been noted as disappointing. Some visitors felt the outdoor pool needed investment and the thermal area could be small for extended stays.
"We love coming here! The hot pools with salt water are amazing! Good changing rooms, especially for families
The Therme Lounge has some really nice dishes"

"They should really do something about the outside pool. It was the main reason we were visiting. Don’t be afraid to invest a little."

"The restaurant is good, it has tasty Asian dishes. But the cakes (only available inside) are pretty crappy, the muffins looked as if from a supermarket package.
There are 3 areas: pool, sauna and therms.
The pools are good for families. There is a very good pool for small children and for older children there is a pool to play, a diving board and a slide.
Next to the toddler pool there are cribs and changing tables.
In the woman's showers next to the pools there are also cribs to leave a baby while mom showers. And on the therms side, the woman's showers have a high chair.
There are also family changing rooms but only on the therms side and there are no family showers.
The pool side also has a swimming pool.
On the therms side all pools have salt, there is a salt room and also a steam bath with salty steam. You can feel the salt in the air throughout the whole therms which is great for the respiratory tract and helpful to fight colds.
However the therms are very small and it gets boring after 1h30 there.
I would anyway recommend the pools for families and the therms for anyone who needs a bit of help with their breathing."
